Terms and Conditions
At Go Houndz, we provide overnight home boarding for dogs, daycare for dogs, dog walking, and house visits for all pets. Once you book with us, you are agreeing to all of our terms and conditions.
- A 10% non-refundable deposit is required for boarding and daycare to secure your space.
- The remaining 90% of the balance must be paid before the collection of your pet.
- Once full payment has been made, no refunds are available unless agreed otherwise.
- Late payment fees may apply (£2 per day).
Boarding operates on a 24-hour period. For example, drop-off at 10 AM and collection the following day at 10 AM is a full 24 hours.
- Pets collected after the stated period will be charged an additional daycare/boarding fee.
- Daycare operates on an 8-hour day.
- If your dog is collected after the 8-hour period, you’ll be charged additional fees.
A booking and consent form must be completed and returned before your pet is dropped off for all boarding and daycare bookings. A separate procedure will be carried out for dog walks and house visits.
- We provide food bowls, water bowls, and clean bedding.
- If your pet has special requirements, we aim to help accommodate them.
For dog walking and house visits, the full amount must be paid upfront prior to the booking.
- Our cancellation policy is moderately flexible. However, you must let us know if any plans change immediately.
For dog walking and house visits, if the client cancels within a 48-hour period, you will not qualify for a refund/rescheduling. Client cancellations made before the 48-hour period will be eligible for a refund/rescheduling.
- We understand plans change, however constant/repeat cancellations may result in removal from our books.
If cancellations are made by us (Go Houndz), clients may be eligible for a full refund.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated, treated for fleas, and wormed before staying with us. Proof of this must be provided by the owner.
All dogs must be socialized, house-trained, and any behavioral issues should be fully disclosed beforehand.
Go Houndz has the right to refuse any dog displaying aggressive behavior, that is unwell, injured, or problematic. The owner or local proxy will be required to collect the dog immediately.
In the unlikely event of a disease outbreak, any sick or unwell dogs will be isolated according to our procedures and local authority guidance.
Although Go Houndz takes every precaution to ensure all dogs are kept safe, happy, and secure, we will not be held liable for any injury, illness, or loss that may occur during your dog’s stay or any animals we visit in the client’s home. We are fully insured.
Go Houndz will ensure to retrieve any medical requirements, allergies, or food intolerances.
However, it is the owner’s responsibility to inform us.
In extreme weather conditions, Go Houndz may reduce walks or change the timings of walks for the safety of your dog, to prevent overheating or freezing.
Emergency/backup accommodation will be available in the unlikely event of evacuation, in line with Go Houndz protocol.
You agree to allowing Go Houndz to use images/videos of your dog on our social media channels and website, unless you have stated otherwise.
Any client data (which is minimal) will be stored safely, securely, and in line with GDPR regulations.
Additional rates may apply over bank holidays and weekends.
